The Teen Mentoring Program is an Intervention and Prevention Program designed to educate youth regarding the risks and dangers of drugs, alcohol and premarital sex. We teach virtues and principles that will equip participants to make responsible,
educated and healthy decisions.

A R C will be the fundamental building blocks in implementing our program. Accountability, Responsibility and Commitment to God, self, family and the community are vitally important as teens develop into adulthood.

Each youth is essential to this program as we strive to develop and enhance their gifts and abilities. We use the peer-to-peer approach during problem solving and utilize and train Senior-Teens to mentor our Junior Teens.

Morgan Ministry FCAT Scholarship Fund
In Florida over 46,000 high school students failed Florida's Comprehensive Achievement Test (FCAT). The FCAT is given each year to public school students in grades three through 10th in reading and math. The FCAT also tests writing in three grades - fourth, eighth and 10th and starting this year, science in fifth, eighth and 10th grades.

Because of the critical number of students failing this aptitude test we have implemented our Academic and Scholarship Program.

Our Academic Program will focus on individualized achievement, particularly preparation for FCAT and SAT testing. Our education services will provide creative educational components geared for those youth who typically demonstrate poor academic achievement and motivation.

Our Scholarship Fund will assist and/or financially support those families who will need to place their children in private institutions to further assist them with their learning disabilities.

What are the Goals of the Program?

  • Mentors for each program participant
  • Increase FCAT readiness
  • Increase program participant's academic performance by 30%
